We migrated from Scotland to America in the early 1700s, settling in Port Tobacco, Maryland by 1718. From there we spread south from South Carolina to Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas before heading north to Idaho.

Frost Hawthorne Clinkscales
Frost Hawthorne Clinkscales, Sr. was born in Tishimingo County, Mississippi on October 9, 1886. His family moved to south central Texas to try cotton farming. They had minimal success. Frost eventually moved to southern Idaho, doing whatever jobs they could to get through life and the Great Depression.
